Do you find yourself traveling from hotel to hotel because of your job? Are you too busy taking care of your children to leave the house and get to the gym? Do you seem to run out of hours in the day and can't make time for a quick gym trip? Have no fear. Here is a simple and quick exercise routine you can do on the go. This workout can be done in a hotel room, living room, kids room, etc. Where ever you can stand and lay down this workout should do it.
ON THE GO WORKOUT:
*Every exercise is done 1 time for 1 minute. If you cannot finish the minute then do as many reps as possible during those 60 seconds.
1) Jumping Jacks
2) Body weight push ups (NO knees- I'd rather you not bend your arms as far than get down on your knees. This will use your core more).
3) Body weighted squats
5) Tricep dips (use the edge of a chair)
6) Body weighted lunges
7) Plank position
9)Shoulder push ups (downward dog position- get forward to the ground).
10) Step ups onto a chair
11)Plank position jumping feet in and out
12) Alternating power lunges
THATS IT! 12 minute full body exercise using only your body weight. This should get your heart rate up and help strengthen those muscles! Give it a shot.
